Track Name: Darkened
Waiting alone weary of your own existence, questions fill your mind. where have they gone? why was i left abandoned? servants for years and nothing to show. tales of eternal elation seem stale. time passes and no one arrives. false promises brought hope of a being so great it surrenders to no one. creator and protector of all. unbiased. unquestioned. can this be true? or just another fable? years of total immersion have led to an uncertainty of all. do not question what was taught. is it true? is it real? how can something so definite fade away? this plague called devotion has crippled its own followers. darkened, you sit alone. it couldn't have been meant to end this way, it won't. things will fall to place. promises kept. disguised as one of us, the true world leader will emerge.
Track Name: Chapter One
The Sky turned gray as the sun was cursed away, a product of hell bound sorcery. At the hands of those wretched and vile, sins of man will damn us all. The ocean boiled as it rose above sea level leaving us to drown in our own blood. Those who survived the flood, witnessed the resurrection. The awakening of a legion of undead, those left burned and cleansed. They rose from their dampened necropolis regurgitating water from their drenched organs. I witnessed this for the waters did not harm me. It became clear to me, my one purpose: to witness this aftermath.
Track Name: Guide Us Through
This landscape, far from desolate, crawling with those: the unfaithful. Now they wander aimlessly, in pain bearing the mark of sin. Each condemned to a life of imprisonment. Hundreds in fear left hanging decorate the avenue. The only thing left to control is your life, so take it(He won't come to save me). The winds blow and the fires burn. Slowly the weak wilt away, each imagining his own terror. The knife, the gun, the press and the devil all stand before me. All of us part of the same conglomerate, striving to make it past this test. It's all designed to keep us from getting through. Blinded are we pushing through the ruble, cast in flames and compelled to carry on. All of us carrying the burden of our biggest sin. A thunderous sky, the soundtrack to our apocalypse. We await the angels to spread their wings and guide us through the gates. I wander these streets alone, chasing my light and the strength of my own. Unfocused on the bodies that lay before me, I continue through with faith in the trinity.
Track Name: Suffocation
These walls, closing in on all of us being brought in by unimaginable desperation. Never once have I seen this kind of fear in their eyes. Inching closer and closer and nothing can hold it back. Never did I think that these fears would manifest into what we all feel today. Something so abrasive, a pummeling blow. The final step before we lay crushed, the slow suffocation of mans hope for the righteous. "Put no others before me", those simple words I followed. Gasping for my last breath, my curtain remains open. My audience remains seated, it isn't over. Act II begins with me in dismay and my knees on the ground. Never lose focus on what you haven't found.
Track Name: In Confidence I Precede
Voice:
I extend my hand, follow me in faith. At ease my son, you are in peace. No longer will you chase that punishing figure. Your savior is here, erase the doubt from your mind. Run no more, your devotion is acknowledged. Come with me and join your loved ones in eternity.
Eyes shut, mind free, I raise my head to the sky. In confidence I precede:
Take me father, I your faithful son. I stand here ready to be taken from this pain into eternity.
A deafening scream breaks the silence. Her voice consumes the atmosphere. He appears before me, carrying my light, donning that of the holy.
Voice:
The trust you bestowed upon me is all to common. Billions follow in faith and I answer. Man will never be protected by the divine, but he will always be the victim of sin. Continue if you dare, grovel at the foot of my throne. Your light awaits you.
Track Name: Against All Forces & Fires
The race to the rendezvous is an unforgiving and seemingly impossible feat. Where all others have failed I will succeed. Facing the demons you envisioned as a child is a daunting task, it's almost as if it was set up. I was invited, and suddenly I see the guns drawn at me. This is supposed to break me but I made you a promise. I meant every word and now faith has taken a literal meaning. What was once a foundation for trust is now only an unsubstantiated concept. Against all forces and fires I'll fight. I was taught to fear no evil, and with that I'll bring you back.
What I saw when I arrived I'll never forget, an empty throne and my biggest fear. All but your light in that darkened room. What was done to you won't go unnoticed. Time and time again I've put it to the test and it's failed me. The feeling of incapacity; inevitable. No matter what I would've done, the outcome would have been the same. The pyramid scheme we've created defeats it's only purpose. Something not yet attained is impossible to deliver. I'm sorry for all of it, and everything I've brought forth. Never will your memory be tarnished.

Track Name: Regaining Consciousness
Only until we've experienced the most distraught will we regain consciousness; a clear and conceived notion of the world around us. No more adoration for an idol or a set of altered morals based on the imagination of the human mind. It's no wonder we've been addicted to that idea, that feeling. It's found within all of us, and up until now we've only been fueling the fire. As everything falls around me, light is a distant memory. The feeling of hope we were blessed with is faded. Now I stare at the beast, and I see the collapse of everything I know. What feels like a loss of being is the reassertion of a mind that has been trapped all along. This is more than a proclamation of a loss of faith, it's an example of the possible.

You can only do so much to manipulate the human mind. Sooner or later, they'll start to wander, and you'll have to pray you left no exit.
